Love the code - I’d rather get a starwheel than a 16202

Thanks everyone. Had the watch for a few months now and have worn it a few times. The aventurine dial plus the ceramic side case makes the watch that much better.

In my opinion, it is one of the best Code11.59. It has a nice look, a pleasant color, and it doesn't scream 'I'm here.' Time will prove it right.
Maybe a bit expensive, but in the luxury world a relative concept. Ap truly has just begun to show the full potential of the Code 11.59. |

After owning code 11.59 (plan blue dial) for few weeks now, it's growing on me. I have not seeing incoming starwheel. Is it limited? How hard is it to obtain one when compare to RO blue?

Absolute stunner of a watch. Code range is the best in AP’s lineup. The case is majestic, the dials sublime, amazing complications. Next level stuff. To me to be able to get a code, you should first have to buy a RO hahaha :)

New AP CODE Starwheel?
Haven’t seen too many - when I got mine I was told it was the second one in North America in July. I’m fairly certain the poster above was the first one in NA lol
For folks wondering, this is my third CODE. I got the QP in 2019, a time only in 2020 and have a dozen APs as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Wow!! Thanks for your input. Honestly code 11.59 didn't sit well with me until I saw one in person and wore it. Now that I own one, looking to add different variations of 11.59 starwheel caught my attention.

I’d buy one for $60. Not sure what they’re going to sell for on the secondary but I’m guessing a lot more.

Gosh, I love this watch more and more. More people getting allocations? Trying to understand how hard these are to get. Yes, I am a “long time” Code fan when I bought my purple time only.

New AP CODE Starwheel?
Quote:
Pretty tough - both are beautiful and special in their own way. Probably Starwheel for ease of use and general aesthetics. What I am sure about is is don’t get a time only CODE - too much bare space and it looks like a dinner plate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Absolutely gorgeous piece, my favourite CODE by far. Photos don´t do it justice.
In Chrono24 there is one for sale for 92K euro.. that's an asking price. First one I see hitting the grey market. it has been sitting there for a couple weeks. |

I had a chance to view the Starwheel the other day and it's something I increasingly want... and actually justifies that 41mm size case.

Think the code should be thinner. A thinner watch just wears better for the majority of the population. The lugs of the code don’t exactly help with the strap system (which for whatever reason was not designed to be quick release), meaning your are stuck with the intervals punched on the strap. Seems like they could have done a better job on the wrist attachment points of the job. As it stands a thinner watch like a Patek is just more likely to be comfortable.

Thanks for the info! Tbh I don't think that this price is too far off given how rare these seem to be.
