This shouldn't have a direct effect on my RM pieces, but I am debating narrowing some others down into a new RM. The problem is- there aren't any I really want that I haven't had yet, other than the one's I simply cannot afford.

Any suggestions?
Find a new wife is the best answer

I am a 5-6 piece maximum guy, and once I get my KV on the 19th will be at 5, which seems perfect for me, can't deal with more, if I do the extras will never be worn, even the 5711 is sort of extra for when I want to wear something more discreet than the 5712, would be the happiest bloke in the world with only 4, but pretty sweet having the 5711, if you wear them all it's great. Why does she want you to lower the collection? If it is to buy a house or some other financial need I understand, but if it's just to lower with no intention of putting the money somewhere, and you wear them, I would not oblige, but I am temperemental, no one gives me crap at home, some of you guys gave me some, which was hilarious mostly, but at home I am a true Stalin

Looks great except I'd swap in the yellow rubber 'tire' onto the crown as as seen on the Ti and RG models.

I just can't believe the price changes on the NTPT- which brings me to my next question.

Does this, or could this indicate a potential price increase across the board for the brand? Has anyone heard anything of the sort?

It's not just me, but across all ADs and even boutiques, distribution has been DOWN significantly. Everything is going for full price and dealers are looking to regain pieces. I had two separate calls last week asking if I was selling.

Just wanted to start a dialogue and hear other's thoughts.

Well the Russian and Chinese markets are down, so like all smart brands they are cutting production for their watches to avoid over production and price drops, seems logical, which means I am further from ever of getting one some day, but I should survive though would love a 035-01 or a 055...

About ntpt price - can we say that typical RM buyer doesn't care about production, or in this case material cost, and he is glad to pay "gold" price for cool factor that ntpt brings... And speaking of cool, there is another great pic of ntpt 1103...

I totally agree with you. I am speaking to the fact that the price was released at 142,500 and many boutiques took full deposits on the item. Only to call their clients back stating it is now 162,500 and for them to pay more.

Is it anything to do with the case of this new model not having the mysterious 'circles'?

Price aside, that's insane and very bad move because you can't treat clients like that... Remind me of reverse psychology and "treat your customers like shit" that was used in fashion stores... the staff was trained to recognize nouveaux riches and when they ask for something they go with "ohh it's maybe too expensive for you"... And then the nouveaux riche with "I can buy you and your family" attitude spends 10 times more than he initially wanted...

I believe it's 170k in Asia and Europe, but I may be wrong.

Ridiculously priced. Tried one on, way too big and bulky for my liking and just too busy. I'll stick with the 35's.

That price easily gets you a used 3 or 4 with plenty left over. The 11-03 is a great watch though!

**OFFICIAL RICHARD MILLE PIC THREAD (and daily snap shots)**

While the price increase is disappointing and especially disrespectful to those who put a deposit, I think 162k is more in line with the rest of the lineup (wrt the 35) and positions NTPT as a premium material reflecting strong demand.

That said, RM prices are just nuts and I am finding it harder and harder to justify the price

Personally, i am waiting a price increase or alignment, especially in US as Euro prices are above US prices given the exchange rates. An example 11-03ti difference is now usd 10k. So, I am expecting them to push prices everywhere except Europe.
RM was on long holidays and I think they will start shipping now so I except more pieces to available by end September and October. Not to forget that, the highest retail period for any retailer is the last quarter so they should hv pieces available.
I will be able to give you more info may be next week as some friends are returning a RM event today so they may hv some insight.

Agree - this is over almost usd 50k over Ti, put another usd 50k on top and you have two RM's.

You basically took the words out of my mouth- I expect a 10k increase on the TI and across the board in the US on pieces. They will still sell them.

I really want this ntpt 11, but I am really struggling with the price. I don't wear my TI for fear of scratching an prefer the unscratchable materials. That being said, even if I sell my 11-03 TI for msrp it's still a significant price difference.

I'll probably still do it, but it just seems rediculous. Or maybe give up a second RM as well........hum.

I think I will go for TPT but first I need to get my Ti. If they increase the prices and the gap will be narrowed btwn ti and tpt, it will be much more easier to digest.

Tried a 11, and as well had the same conclusion as you, too big and too bulky, didn't try any 035 or 055 though... But as much as I like the 035's and 055's just can't imagine putting that kind of money in a sport piece time only, but hey if some can that's great, I put that kind of money but in a Voutilainen, financially the RM is probably wiser as easier to sell and probably won't loose a lot, but for me the work on the Voutilainen is in another category, sure I get the R&D, and other things, were I much richer I would get the 055 all grey, oove that one, but not possible, except if my investments pay off as I expect them to one day, but that day is not soon...

Found this on instagram. Its not a regular 35-02 since that model is red/white TPT this has the red/black like the RM11. Not a fan of the diamonds but I thought it was worth sharing with you.
