Incoming!!!

I have been going back and forth about letting go of some of my collection that just collects dust. Mainly less expensive models that I bought on a whim or thought I needed (two zodiac seawolfs, Oris Aquis and a Presage dress watch). Once I finally realized that emotionally I could let them go, I knew which watch I wanted. I saw it at timeless luxury in the pre owned section a week earlier and called this morning to see if it was still there, and it was! Spoiler alert! I didn’t get it...it was in the show case when I got there, but literally sold a moment before I came in . It was this the SLA 019 green dial. I was bummed but asked to see the non LE black dial and loved it. It’s a beast on the wrist in a good way! I’m excited to have thinned out my collection and replaced 4 watches with a crazy good quality piece. .
I love the gold seconds hand!

Congratulations. I own the green MM and got onto the watch because of the black dial MM. You have a great watch and I was just talking to a friend and told him since I own the green I might buy the black dial version. Probably won't, as it is somewhat repetitive, but still a great watch.

There is an interesting write up comparing the sla 019 to the Rolex green submariner. Although a winner was not declared in the write up, you could tell the writer thought the Seiko was the better watch. His opinion.

I’ve read that article. This watch is now my one true diver...and is probably going to get a ton of wrist time. Seiko in all categories just knows how to do it right.

Yea but there are Rolex owners who have 10 different subs!!! You having two MM’s isn’t gonna hurt anyone !

My wife has and has had some amazing watches, but I notice the 019 gets the most wrist time. Congrats again!

Yep, I’m a sucker for black dials with gold accents.

No not me.. I haven’t been over Timeless for a few weeks which is rare for me. I did put a deposit down on the new bronze IWC Spitfire though!
