It´s Honor Blackman, playing the Bond girl Pussy Galore in "Goldfinger", 1964. She wore a GMT-Master 6542 in the film, apparently the first and only female lead in any of the Bond films to be shown wearing a Rolex watch!

That'll come. They'll have different colored bezels on BB58 GMTs.

This watch is a huge win for Tudor. I have a BB58 Blue and 126710BLRO. This watch is nearly as thin as both. As massive improvement on wearibility from their prior GMTs.

Am I the only one who finds the dial background texture / color of these matte black Tudors to be rather dull?

For example somehow the yachmaster 40 oysterflex black dial rose gold matte black dial is very rich/warm but I just find Tudors to be less agreeable for some reason

Speaking of which I see she has it on her Upper Hand... one for the Brit sitcom lovers.

As mentioned above it's Honor Blackman from Goldfinger, but the photo I posted shows her with the watch she was wearing before someone photo-shopped a GMT-Master over it.

The BB58 GMT is a home run for me. I am ambivalent about the gilt but it probably won't stop me from buying one. Also the Black Bay Pro II Master Chronometer when this 58 GMT movement gets in there

Rolex is absolutely pushing Tudor in a strategic manner. Gotta admit that economy of scale makes Tudor a pretty sweet value-proposition! Once again can the enthusiasts have "Rolex" quality for a little under an average months' salary... back to the 60s, I say!

I really hope so! I will trust you on that. Its like a cheaper and better Rolex 16710. :-)

+1 Tudor

Good releases by Tudor this year imho.

Coke-bezel with their new GMT movement being METAS certified,

added bonus in a ~2mm thinner case,

plus both rubber and bracelet options.

If Rolex released a new Coke with the same options as Tudor just did, the posts about it would have melted down the TRF server.

It’s nice watch, but can’t get on board with the gilt so hopefully we see more colourways in the future.

I saw this mock up with no gilt on Instagram (credit to @justlikeswatches) and I think it looks vastly better.

Something is definitely, magically shifting the printed chapter ring color in the website photo.

From white at 11 o'clock, to cream at 5 o'clock. Yet the lume plots remain white. The camera lens is slightly lower than dead center.

And it worked, made me laugh! My post was just a deliberate attempt at some good old deadpan British humour, that works better in person...!

Still not a fan of all things Tudor. I wish I was, much cheaper.

Much better. People see the luminous areas more yellow because the surrounding gold this is known visual perception effect.

Okay. That coke mock-up without the gilt looks AMAZING! That would be enough for me to pull the trigger. But how about taking a page out of the gold BB58 playbook and getting rid of the faux rivets? Tudor didn't put them on a $30,000 gold watch because it wold look stupid. They also look stupid on a $5,000 steel watch.

Like everything about the new Coke Tudor except it shrunk to 39mm.

Thanks for the info! Ha, should've known who that was given my avatar, she just looked different in that glam pic. Goldfinger is indeed my favorite Bond movie. Cheers!
