SKX007 reserve dying overnight

Good evening folks,

I purchased a SKX007 about eight months ago. I love the watch. My father bought an older model in Hong Kong back in the 80s while he was in port with the navy. I grew up admiring that watch. Well I was on deployment in the Philippines and I picked up a 007 to match his.

While on deployment I would daily the watch but take it off before bed and place it on the table. The next morning I would go to put it on and it would have stopped sometime throughout the night. This seems odd because the reserve should carry it throughout the night. What could the problem be? Surely wearing it for 16 hours would be enough to “charge” it up? Right?

Any feedback will be welcomed. Thanks y’all!
