Not definitive, but according to Adrian of Bark & Jack (watch from 2mins 10secs in the video below) who was at W&W, the steel Daytona has been increased by about a millimetre to now be a genuine 40mm.

I mean people preferring a slightly smaller or slightly larger Daytona is just going to come down to personal wrist size. Those with a wrist 7 inches and smaller will most likely prefer the 11 series that wears smaller, and those 7 inches + will probably enjoy the new 12 series and any of the PM Daytonas.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and own the 116500 black dial, it's taken nearly 100% of my wrist time. Absolute perfection in all aspects, not only fit.

Same, I have just over a 7" wrist and the 116500LN is my most comfortable sport Rolex by a mile.

The 11 series we'll be remembered like the old 5 digit Subs and GMTs for for and feel but with a much better bracelet. The new Daytona will go down like the first gen ceramic Subs and share the term "super Case".

It's an incredible watch, there's a reason why the hype is so strong. Not many watches nail every category from fit, aesthetics, rolex build quality, history, fascinating movement etc... the list goes on.

I have large wrists, but Iove wearing a 38-40mm slightly off to the side.

Agree. Everytime I see one at an AD (exhibition of course) I'm always struck by how small it looks in-person. I think the moonwatch dimensions work better.

Hafiz J Mehmood did measurements in his latest review - he said at the end next video will be a comparison but I am pretty sure he already has the 11 video up from years ago with measurements so you can probably just watch both

To me the narrower black rings on the sub dials is the most noticeable change. Doubt 1mm in diameter will mean that much.

Have a 116500 white and 126500 black. The 126500 does really wear broader and slimmer at the same time. IMO the numbers look negligible, but on the wrist, it’s actually quite different, and the 126500 has a far more retro/vintage feel to it. I honestly think the 116500 wears slightly better, and I’m used to wearing larger watches, so I’m not overly sensitive to big case sizes.

I think Daytona works on all size wrists personally - 36mm I have outgrown as time has evolved.
