My buddy called. I picked up for 5 mins... then she started yelling about I can’t talk at the gym.

I’m like what?

She’s like ...there’s no phone calls at the gym.

I’m like find me a sign and I’ll stop.

She’s like I came to the gym to listen to music and work our not hear you on the phone...

This was less than 5 mins... she was yelling. It wasn’t a calm convo...

Man what is wrong with people these days.

I went to the managers office they told me to ignore the crazy. I go back down. This lady. Walks by and says what are you looking at.

She’s like 60-65 years old maybe... just wow.

Last year the older people trainer (55 years old) yelled at me for throwing weights and making noise when I was putting the barbell back on squat rack.

Today some random crazy old lady screams at me. Wtf...

Dude I hear you. Where I work our in Dallas I imagine is as close as it gets to where you are a member of. Old rich people are hands down the worst at the gym I have found.

It’s nice.
I think taking calls in the gym is rude regardless of the gym rules. People are there to relax, stretch, concentrate on their training, etc. People having long conversations is an unnecessary distraction.

People often mistake the concept of rules and manners the way they do with laws and morals.

You don't need posted signs to dictate manners and you don't need laws to manage morals.

Do you really think it's appropriate for people to be yapping on the phone in the gym, in a restaurant, etc. and 5 minutes is a loooong time.

I’m not a planet fitness guy either, would that matter? Isn’t everyone going to the gym to focus on their health and wellness?
