Take a look at my ig toxichorology mate. My pics are all there, including the yellow strap. Uploading pictures on here is a tad troublesome, needing to resize and all. And thanks buddy.

Don’t beat yourself up about it. As you say unforeseen circumstances. If you’d completed the hand over, your friend should take some responsibility for the damage if they are aware of it. Its a pity that personal 3rd party liability insurance isn’t more common.

So if a good friend of yours ask you if they could have a look at the watch you are wearing you turn him/her down? Ridiculous in my opinion.

Yeah that’s the right thing to do. I also wouldn’t push it if they didn’t offer. Hold on tightly, let go lightly

This is one of those times having Jeweler's Mutual would have helped, and why I spend what I do to insure my watches...more of a peace of mind thing at the end of the day vs overall value but hey.

Yes, I do exactly that. I simply say that I don’t take it off or let anyone touch my watches. I don’t want to handle other people’s watches either, and usually implore them to leave their watches on when they start unfastening clasps to give me an unsolicited look-see... Not a big deal, I’d live with it. A “repaired” case would bother me.
Alternatively, you could flip it and get a new one. Then put it in a safe and keep it away from danger! Lol |

can’t you just replace the part that holds the pusher since there are 2 screws.
the scratch on the lugs is minor - can be buffed. |

Oh man. My daughter at 2 yo dropped my ap 42 rg right on the tile. Smushed the corner (by the 10 marker). It’s now a characteristic of the watch lol. It’s going to her anyways...
But in case I throw her away, let me know how the repair turns out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Anyway, update guys. APSC has gotten back. It is possible to replace the chrono pusher guards, and that isn’t going to be too costly. So, the outcome’s better than I expected. Just waiting news to see if it’s possible to avoid replacing the pushers itself, and the pusher guards only. Either way, it’s not a full case replacement! Not exactly the best news, but at least it’s a problem that can be solved with money. Will update again on the final word by AP guys! In the meantime, enjoy your watches and let’s all be grateful for our watches and life!

I reckon they will quote about SGD1500. Hopefully they won’t insist a service is also carried out. Sorry to see this. I would go nuts!

Close! They quoted me 1.7k SG for replacement of the chrono guards. Of course, I’m asking them if that’s the only thing I need replaced and waiting to hear from them. Otherwise, the pusher will be included which pushes up the price.
