It looks like a serif dial, but the seller calls it a "serif Maxi." I'm not familiar with that term. Also, a 5.4 mil. serial would be late for a serif dial, from what I've read.

A Maxi dial would actually be correct for this serial range, but it's not a Maxi dial at all, it's a Serif dial commonly found a few years earlier in the 2.5-4 mil range.

Often times these days, unpolished is merely code for refinished to look original. This "tool watch" that originally cost a few hundred dollars is now nearly 40 years old. Anyone who actually wears a watch knows just what scratch and ding magnets they are. This was not a watch that was purchased as a museum piece, an investment, or a dress watch. Now a dealer wants you to believe that it looks just like it did when it left the factory in the late 70s and also charge you a gigantic premium because of it. Your call on whether or not you want to pay for that.
