Sportswear versus haute couture...15202 (and its finishing)is a piece of art... keep your 202 then add a rolex for your hollidays

I can do the trade with you. I am exactly opposite to your situation where I have too many Rolexes. I got three new sports Rolexes just in 2018

I'll take that 15202 from you if you are interested in a trade.

Speaking as a Rolex Pepsi owner, I’d keep the jumbo. It’s continuing to increase in value. That said, I’d not trade my Pepsi for anything , so the Pepsi is a gorgeous piece. I’ve never seen an AP in person.... but I suspect its finishes are in a different universe than rolex’s... based on what I’ve read..

I had both the 15202 and the 26331 and ended up letting the 15202 go...but that is because I already have a royal oak.

You could consider cashing out to a 15400 or 15500 and getting a rolex?

I ended up grading the jumbo for a brand new Pepsi and brand new hulk. Both have gotten continuous wrist time and I’m happy with the trade. My logic is to have watches that I would wear and not lock the watch away only to bring out on special occasions (although I rarely wear my 6542).

Obviously the Jumbo is an amazing piece, but I’m a more sports-watch type person in my day to day life. I wore the Jumbo for my wedding recently and memorialized the day with pictures with the Jumbo. Shortly there after it moved on to a collector who will hopefully enjoy it. Next purchase will be a precious metal as a formal dress watch that will serve its purpose for dressy occasions.

X2 do the trade if you’re not always reaching for the 15202 in the morning

In 2017 I passed on one for $19k and now it’s 30+, the value’s all relative but you can’t go wrong with either. BLRO and LV are guaranteed liquid.

The 202is wonderful but didn’t last long in my collection.

Real question is are you wearing the AP?

Congratulations on your decision! As long as you’re happy with it and that’s the only opinion that counts at the end of the day.

You should own the watch. The watch should not own you.

We’re all different and appreciate different aspects of this great hobby, which is why you see people *gasp!* trading their Jumbo / Nautilus / *insert any other highly desirable piece*.
