Million Dollar Listing LA

Last night the Bravo show “Million Dollar Listing LA” premiered for its 11th season. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a show about high end real estate brokers. Viewers are used to seeing the brokers wear numerous luxury watches throughout the season. That’s nothing new.

But in one scene last night, star agent Josh Flagg is seen getting a haircut by a barber wearing a Submariner (— looks to be a pre-ceramic model to me.) A good reminder that Rolex watches really can be worn by anyone and everyone who appreciates them!

Wonder why the barber leaves the crown unscrewed?

Josh Flagg wears many Rolex's.

I've seen him wear a Blue Ceramic full YG 116618LB all the time. I've seen him wear a DayDate either 40 or 41 alot as well in YG.

He comes from a very rich and successful family.

I bet they hacked the movement so the time would not be changing from take to take. Good spot.

Don’t sound so surprised. Many high-end hairdressers earn a lot of money.

Certainly wasn’t meant as a commentary on the job. Quite the opposite actually.

They need a new name for the show, a million dollar listing in LA is not that impressive.

Not at all what I mean.

My point was that Rolex is often associated (inaccurately so) with a certain type of person.

I enjoy seeing Rolex wearers of all stripes.

You’re free to disagree if you think otherwise.

I enjoy watching it to see “how the other half lives.” We’ll, it’s more like the top 3%.
Phenomenal properties, exclusive automobiles, and pretty cool watches.

What a pompous statement...."A good reminder that Rolex watches really can be worn by anyone and everyone who appreciates them!"

One of the things I dislike about forums such as these. Such an arrogant and elitist mindset. Reckon the barber should consider himself fortunate that a pauper such as he is even allowed to have a Rolex, right?

Entirely your words; not mine.

If you’d have read my previous response, you’d know this is not at all my opinion.

I think the point that was lost in this case is that regardless of profession and perceived income this particular barber likely makes over $150,000 a year so he probably has his Daytona at home :)
