No personal interest. I think it's the only way for a decision to buy or not.
Can you upload other photos that are not on Chrono24 or his website?

So, after some deliberation - I bought a very nice 'white' SD from the same seller/dealer.

Congrats for the nice 16660, offered by TheWatchguy very much (a factor 2,7) cheaper than the 1665 you presented here, but not comparable with a DRSD Mk4 with Mk3 inlay, at least for me.

Thank you.

I'm not comparing them.

You asked for an update - I posted one.

Have a good weekend.

The first watch, being sold in Germany is misrepresented by the seller. Calling the watch a "full set" is incorrect, especially with the wrong and incorrect accessories. That would indicate to me that he is not trustworthy or knows very little about vintage let alone vintage sets.

Could be fine, just looks unusual. You’re paying a premium for the set, so you should confirm that it’s not just cobbled together.

The MK3 set is more collectible, but the case has been over-polished, IMHO.

Good luck!
Some good points Aaron. personally, I've seen many vintage papers with dealer stock numbers, model numbers and other numbers typed or printed on them. There is no common thread on how these numbers or comments were placed on the papers - the dealers seemed to use whatever was available to them - from typewriters to stamps to an ink pen. As far as the paper not having the buyer's name filled in on it, that is very common.

I addressed the mismatched set in another post here and echo your concerns.

Just curious, why you did not decide for the DRSD? Did you meet the seller to have a view?

I decided I preferred to put my money into the 'Triple 6' and some other 'newer' classics.

I also bough some 'unworns' - hoping they're better 'growers' than just leaving it in the bank.

A 16610LV, a 16600 and a 14060 - I'm still after a black-dial 16610 and a black-dial 16570.
