Don’t have time to be a member and local courses are pretty nice. This was Pelican Hills last weekend. Also do an annual golf trip with the guys. Just booked Hawaii this year, if anyone has suggestions for courses please let me know.

Played Pelican North course. Great spot!

Dude answers the phone "This is Bob".
I'm like hey Bob. Then I was like, wait a minute...........
It was Bob Bettinardi himself.
He apologized for not being able to track down my putter, so he sent out a brand new edition of the same model.
Their putters are works of art and great tools. I have a BB-1 and a Queen Bee.

Club Champion is a great experience if you do not mind paying full retail. They did my last two sets. Nice thing is a real master club fitter builds the clubs. Once you speck them, they order and direct ship to Chicago and they are hand assembled there. Also if swing weight is important they will dial that in perfectly.

If I need a little tweak or something done they do it in the local shop and they do not charge. Awesome guys at the Bellevue WA store. If I lived closer I would be in there all the time...LOL

Basically, what droptopman said.

I will add that if you are a high handicapper or a beginner, it would be a waste of time and money. You need to be able to produce a somewhat repeatable swing in order to get the full benefit.

Bringing this up as I am, after a 20yr hiatus (though a little a blip about 10yrs ago), trying to get back into the game. When I burned out, I was a +3. A few weeks ago I got a mat from DWQuail and a net, and have been trying to get the muscles, spine, and shoulders back into the groove...something like an hour a day on the mat, minimum, of mostly SW, 9i, and 7i.

ITB currently:
Titleist 976R
Callaway Big Bertha Warbird 12*
Ping-copy 2i
Titleist 962 3 - P
Cleveland 485RTG
really, really old Acusnet 60*
Snake Eyes quarter mallet

Won my club’s member-member a few years ago and applied some of the winnings to new sticks:

Callaway Apex CF16 4-AW
Epic Sub-zero driver and 3-wood
Steelhead XR hybrid
Mack Daddy 4 56 and 60 deg. wedges, s-grind, 10 deg bounce
Odyssey O-Works S7 putter

I really like the set up. I’m not a great ball-striker but the Apex is fairly forgiving while providing good feedback.

The pandemic pushed me back to the wonderful sport of golf. It feels like I am starting from scratch after more than ten years of not playing. It has been a great mental reprieve for me from work, even just hitting balls at home into a practice net.

I am playing with mostly Talyor Made clubs: SIM Max driver, M2 irons, a 3 rescue hybrid.

Hoping to schedule some golf vacations in 2021 - possibly Pine Hurst or Kiawah. Also want to go spectate some PGA events.

I've got a mix of old and new in my bag and have changed a few things since spring.

Ping G10 driver
TM M2 3 wood
Callaway X Hot pro hybrid
Lynx Parallax irons
Ping Eye 2 SW
Nike VR Forged Lob wedge
TM Spider Tour putter
Srixon Q Star ball

I play different courses this year, never joined my regular club as I planned. I'll rejoin next year after this Covid thing is over ( hopefully )
I took lessons 25 years ago but mostly self taught. Been as low as a 4, probably a 10 this season, haven't practiced at all this year, only played maybe 20 rounds so far.
