Icon8 Goop/gunk around cyclops

Hi all...
Whenever I take a micro cloth to clean smudges off the face om my GMT II, invariably, I have to take a 2nd and sometimes a 3rd pass around the edges of where cyclops meets crystal to remove gunk - it's a pain. Any ideas on how to keep goop from accumulating at the juncture of these two surfaces?
Thanks for your advice if any...

Q-tip with or without a dab of isopropyl alcohol works wonders

I have a thin microfiber cloth. My finger nail behind it usually can get that area clean. As mentioned, alcohol does wonders as well.

if all else fails, you can buy a Daytona, or a Sea-Dweller

at the very least just to experience non-cyclops Bliss

We use peg wood but tooth pick is a good alternative.

I sometimes wonder where common sense has gone today just wash watch regular in soap and water.
