Here is my JC DSSD. Currently obsessed with my 126660 and wearing it daily for a few weeks now. Thanks.

What was unbelievable for me was how sensationally comfortable the 116660 was on my wrist. I removed the diving extension and despite the height of the watch, I can hardly feel it on my wrist. For me it is still the most interesting diving watch from Rolex.

Asides from this Mark II dial being produced for a relatively
short period, I do not know much about this variant.

I did not know this was a thing!

Can you clarify the differences between the mk1 v mk2 please?

Thanks in advance

It's simply a dial variation with the most pronounced difference being between the MK I and MK II with the type of font and spacing and the "Bart Simpson" Rolex logo.
There is also a final variation(MK III).

Somewhere around here on the General Discussion forum there is an exclusive thread on the black 116660 dial variations, that covers it in detail with pics and everything which was first started on the 31st August 2012
A Google search usually brings it straight up

I am in the DSSD club and my first Rolex club! Pictures dont really do justice. Wears smaller than my Panerai 47mm submersible in titanium though it does weigh more, i do not notice it. I always liked bigger watches and never felt Rolex made one to fit what I liked, the DeepSea does (the challenge is a little much and overkill for me)
