PAM 111 F Series

Hello,

Does any know if the PAM 111 F series has a sandwich dial or is it a painted dial?

Thanks,
Matt

Matt,

F series have the painted dial and also the "Panerai" engraving on the internals

Hope this helps

I like the sandwich dial, but both have there qualities. I actually have a 111 J so I'm a little biased.

I made the avatar by cropping this pic I found on the paneristi site.

Panerai didn't start the sandwich dial until the H (2005) serials, IIRC. I think the sandwich dials look better, but I also love the sausage dial on the Logos.

Here is a good comparison picture provided by Kenny on Paneristi.com (workshopcat). I hope he doesn't mind, but I'm referencing him:

Painted and so much better IMHO. The sammy dial looks great on Rads and Fiddy cases. The painted dials look the cats ass IMHO.
