i was lukewarm at first, but this is really growing on me. i agree, if the 5270P wasn't released, i would try to figure out how i could get one. both are pretty amazing, im really impressed

Already put my order in for both that and the aquanaut. I've been waiting for years for that piece.

I love it but sadly too expensive for me.

Anyway, this isn't the direction I would have taken the Nautilus, but it's not the worst execution. Kudos to PP for keeping the case so thin and 40mm!

I think even TS could too and just didn't want to have all the inevitable sales controversies it will stir up, esp on his hated SS Nautilus.

And he has 6 SS Nautiluses (or Nautilii?), possibly more and worth like 200K in total. I'm a complete pleb by comparison!

Apologies if this is a repost, but here's a nice wrist turn video and I have to say ... wow, that is something special.

If they had made it out of platinum, I would be thinking about how to get one. Have to think that this is now the flagship Nautilus. They will make it out of plantium eventually.

It is a good move that Patek has come out with a Nautilus PC in precious metal and not SS. I don't know if Patek has ever produced a PC in SS before and I am not sure if they ever will, unless it is for a LE version.

The 240Q movement inside the 5740/1G is the same movement that has been in PCs for the past 30+ years (3940, 5040, 5140, 5940, 5327).

At $119K USD, Patek obviously is not marketing this watch for those new to the brand, but for true watch collectors.

Love the watch but the price is truly outrageous. You can buy a 5970g, almost a 5131P, etc....

High price yes but I can’t blame them with people spending 50-60k in 5711 and 5712.

I think it’s purdy. If I had the means this would be a target.

Is it just me or do the three dials remind you of the Mickey Mouse emblem.
Perhaps we should nick name it 'Mickey'

Just reserved one . I can’t wait to see where they hide the correctors and can’t believe that it is thinner than 5711 . Job well done to PP .

Well... the dial on the new PC Nautilus makes my 5712g look pretty classic.
Are all the dial haters of the 5712 gonna love this dial as its New???? I wonder..!!

This watch is beautiful. If you have the 5976g or 5711p, would you get this?
