Are there any pictures which show the thickness of the watch?

I like the vintage Tudor watches a lot, but not the new ones. I’m pretty open about that. I don’t feel like Tudor tarnishes the Rolex brand. Rather, I feel that without the Rolex association, Tudor isn’t strong enough to stand on its own.

I like anything vintage Tudor or Rolex for that matter. But the modern Tudor, to me, is just so much better than the modern Rolex. I like Rolex bracelets but the cases are just way to fat for my liking. I think that Tudor would easily stand on their own. Their lineup still has some holes in it, but so does Rolex and any other manufacturer.

And I know nothing about Porsche so have at them!!

According to Hodinkee (video review on YouTube), it wears much like the current Black Bays, so it might be same case? Anyway, it‘s the Porsche 718 out there

Tudor one is more focussed, the Rolex one is very annoying and distracted.

I read somewhere today that case thickness is 14.6mm, a little thinner than the current Black Bays.

Tudor looks like it’s going to become the staple cosmopolitan watch. It draws from Rolex’ history at a price point that a younger up and coming crowd can purchase.

In my experience, yes it will. I sold my BB41 steel because it was so top-heavy and uncomfortable. The SubC on the other hand, I felt wore like a dream. I have small wrists (approx 6.5"), so that may be why.

Hmmm....I guess I'll have to check out a BB 41mm in person to see if the size seems right for me. I think my wrist is about 7.25".

I would have agreed with you if this was pre-black bay Tudor. However, I think if they did have to stand on their own now would be the only time they had a fighting chance to go 12 rounds. Oh wait...1926 nevermind :)

Gotta try this on, looks pretty great and my only doubt is the size also (how it compares with the ETA BB's since I like those).

I'm interested in the watch but not a fan of the black bay thickness.

And that's the ETA. They do look further apart in that pic than they do in reality on the wrist, but yes a significant difference.

A Boxster isn't a cheap, slow or boring car anymore so who cares. Even the previous Boxster with the 3.4 and 3.8 was absolutely mindblowing.

Just as a FYI it’s an illusion. I have both watches and they are the same thickness.

I love it!!! But part of me thinks-- what other industry can swap around a color on a bezel and claim that is the breakthrough new product of the year? It seems the whole watch industry moves at snail speeds, while meanwhile Apple penetrates at the level they did... Is there a way a Rolex could innovate out of a change so absurd as swapping a few colors around? I guess you could call it mastering the concept of keeping expectations incredibly low. Maybe next year we WILL see a true root beer with, drum roll please, a BROWN dial!!! Wow that should take hundreds of millions in R&D.

YES no kidding!! I was not thinking it would be that thick.... I guess they do have to keep up the reason for the price variance between Rolex and Tudor.
