i think anyone who wants one will be able to get it within a year. yes, the first ones might be insane but the GMT never had the restricted production of the Daytona. many ADs receive only a few Daytonas per year. id be surprised if that is the case for a GMT. of course, im talking my book and i desperately want one!

Good thing I got on the list at 12:01 CET, maybe I’ll even get one before I die of old age... without having to pay these silly grey prices...

The very first ones will be right at the 20k mark, IMO. Then they will settle down somewhat. Or not.

Let's wait for John Mayer and Ben Clymer to show off their new watches and set the secondary market price for us.

First listed worldwide? 25k only if they roll out quickly and the market stays in its euphoric state.

Just like the price is right. I’ll guess $17500.

But really so sad the state of affairs for this passion now a days. It's taken some of the love away. All the talk about value, resale, discontinuing, short stocks, and grays with their ludicrous markups.

A piece like this will surely be worth at least 2x MSRP when initially released. I do not expect them to even come close to meeting demand.

20k easily...

Wished they had fixed the colors.

Or I'm glad they didn't because then I would want one and would have to deal with the ridiculous wait times.

I wouldn't either but sadly not everyone agrees and many will pay extra.

Pretty sad. I know it’s a “whole new world”, but I’ve never paid retail on a luxury watch, let alone over. Let the market dictate...

The world has yet to see a watch that will compel me to pay over MSRP.
To each their own with how they spend their money but if all would sit back and not pay $10,000 over MSRP, you would see prices drop to normal.
There is no watch anyone “needs” that badly.

Actually I'm going to change my initial statement and recommend 3x MSRP as a good price point for these.

At that price point, might as well get the black dial WG model, considering they were going for like what, $24K new on the grey market?

With prices like they are, I am considering selling my SubC and putting some money in my pocket and picking up an Omega Planet Ocean. The businessman in me is making it hard to hold on the my Sub when I've got the chance to make a little money on it. Anytime I can buy something, enjoy it a while and then turn a profit I have a hard time holding onto to anything.
