Source for high end or vintage pocket watches?

Looking for some high end or vintage (Vacheron, Rolex, JLC, etc..) pocket watches.

Seems the only pocket watches I can locate from surfing the web are either cheap decorative pocket watches or Swiss Army pocket watches.

Thanks!

Check out local auctions I will say. From what I know it's the best, most safe way to get a vintage like that.

This seller has some others for sale including a minute repeater pocket watch going on right now. The watch I gave you the link to is beautiful. Mr. Cash on E-Bay typically has some pocket watches for sale but not right now.

Found another great site for vintage pocket watches:

www.bogoff.com

They had quite a few Patek, IWC, Howard, Hamilton, and other for sale!

This thread has me wondering just how many folks here have pocket watch collections. I know I do have a very modest one.

Best Regards,

I have two but only because they are family heirlooms from my Great Grandfather and Uncle.

If you look up AAA Watches in Wayzata Mn. they sell them and I believe he either has or can get higher end models. The owner's name is Bill and he is a great guy.

Good Luck,

David

Funny you should ask these have been showing up on another forum. A dealer Boomer Time has a nice offering of museum quality pocket watches at this very time.

Here is a rolex.

These are just stunning. If I had the money I would buy one of these. I urge you all to just look at how beautiful they are.
