Who can actually service these vintage timepieces well, keeping it intact without messing it up?

There are several awesome watchmakers that are mentioned frequently on this forum, such as LA Watchworks, Rolliworks, Bob and Philip Ridley, plus others.

To the original poster, great outcome with the 1680 Red Sub you chose from Jacek. I've done business with him several times and met him back in the HQ Milton era. Great guy!

Looks like you have the list already! Just had my 1675 serviced with Phillip Ridley. He was a pleasure to work with and uses Rolex parts. I was going to use LA Watch Works for service but they were unable to source a new bezel ring for my watch. Phillip came through on that aspect and was very thorough replacing worn gears and whatnot plus an amazing turnaround time. Rolliworks I have used in the past for bracelet repair. Good luck!

How was the turnaround time for Rolliworks? I'm considering bringing my bracelet in to have the links tightened.
