Holy cow.....gmt perfection. Big congrats. That's a keeper. You can tell by the patina that it's all original. Hands match perfect.

Thank you guys for all the kind words!
For those who are interested in some details: It's a 1.29 Mio. serial (beginning of 1966) GMT 1675 gilt dial with small GMT hand. Reference and serial are clearly visible. Dial is near to perfection. The golden letters are as golden as they can be! Absoluetly stunning to me!!! Bracelet is a 7206 with 58 end links, matching to the 1675s delivered in these years. The date wheel is with round 3, closed 6 and 9 and also the beautiful hook 7. The patina of the dial and hands is simply stunning and matching. The luminous material (tritium+?) is still glowing in the dark, common for watches from this time. Please correct me if I'm wrong: As far as I know the 1675 gilt non chapter rings with "normal" crown guards has only been produced from the year 1964 (beginning) maybe end of 1963 until the end of 1966. So there have not been produced many examples of this combination. Many dials have been damaged over the years or have been changed to matte dials during service. Think you can imagine/hear from my written words that I'm really really proud and happy!!! 3 more pics... Sebastian |
