I buy often high dollar items from reputable sellers
Out of 700 items bought ...I only had an issue with two One was stolen and the seller promptly refunded my money and the other was not working properly ...got a partial refund and fixed it So to say ...is there anything at eBay not fake or stollen Does not do justice to all the thousands of honest sellers at eBay I am sure in your line of work there are rotten apples as well. |

I’m very sad to hear this and I’m sure the seller will do the right thing. Good luck

I’m the OP and this thread is long over.
Long story short, Rolex eventually declared the watch hadn’t been stolen and the watch was serviced as normal and returned. The seller couldn’t have been better. He wrote to Rolex personally to try and clear everything up and was prepared to provide a full refund which in the end wasn’t necessary. It all worked out well in the end and this was covered in subsequent threads and posts. Case closed. |

This thread was necro bumped by this post. Helloitsme, please start a new post about your watch so that there is no confusion. These types of posts are usually a one and done.

Still a interesting read in 2019. :) RSC cause a lot of problems with a lot of people in this case and they should be held responsible. They wasted a lot of other peoples' resources.

It's not only Rolex, there are plenty of sites out there with a database of stolen watch serial numbers. you can run checks yourself.
