The watch is a long way from "smashed". A slight scuff is nothing. Many more to come.

Yeah this isn’t too bad, much worse could have happened. Which is why I’m leaving my Rolex at home when I go to Vegas for my bachelor party

That is the furthest thing from smashed. I would not even think twice about it, that is what happens when you actually wear a watch. Congrats!

I agree, "hulk smashed"...and it was just a swirl on the bracelet. Lols...

Anyways, drama aside. Glad you had fun.

Just buff it out man. Character marks are ok but not on something that's just barely a week old!

Thanks everyone and agree it is not 'smashed', but that's what Hulk says so went with it. At first was bummed because she was literally brand new, but then i remembered how these scratches happened.

Yeah, totally worth it :)

It can really hurt especially when you just got it, it happens, nothing too serious to worry about

The more scratches the better. With the crap we put up with from the manufacturer it's a bit of (albeit twisted) justice ;)

The watch is ruined now and totally worthless, send it to me to be recycled ( free of charge, of course) and go buy a new one.

When he said "smashed" I was expecting the crystal to be shattered and the bezel to need replacing .. lol

Thank goodness it is only a minor battle scar

It actually looks like the entire scratch is wholly contained within the one link so if you wanted to, you could just swap the link and be brand new again.

Either way, I'm sure the memories were well worth it. Congratulations!

ETA: Whoops! Never mind. I just saw it's the third link, so not swappable. Sorry. Wear it with pride!
I like the flipping the link idea if the scratch bothers. Not a big fan of polishing even by Rolex.

One light pass with a scotchbrite pad in the up down direction will make that all but disappear.
