Recommendations for Trusted Online Watch Appraisers for Homeowners Insurance Estimate

Folks,

Are the there any trusted online watch appraisers that you use which offer quick email turn around and reasonable prices for homeowners insurance replacement value estimates?

A few of the local jewelers around me off such services but I feel their prices are a bit much for one piece of paper stating a simple value on my somewhat average swiss timepieces.

I also don't like the idea of leaving my watches with a somewhat unknown for days or waiting in a lobby for a few hours for them to write up a simple report.

In this information age surely there are some out there, right?

Thanks.

Reach out to whomever you purchased them from?
That's what I did for Jewelers Mutual.

Been buying a few limited edition vsa models online. All were from individuals unfortunately, not dealers but appreciate the suggestions.

Your insurance company might accept the manufacturer's web site description & pricing. Mine did on insuring a DayDate for replacement value.

if you need a proper valuation and the appraiser doesnt need to see the watch and will do it on the cheap, they probably are not reputable. Pay to get it done right as it will save you trouble later if there is ever a claim as no one can question the appraisal after the fact.

I have an actual accredited valuer appraise all my watches and wife's jewelry. My AD gives me valuations too but i don't really use those for anything.

Find an AD that has a third party in house jewelry appraiser. This is how I got my trusted seller purchased watch appraised. Cost me $100,The watch and I were in his office for a whole 15-20 minutes. He took pictures and examined watch. Mailed to my house about 2 weeks later.
