I also just thought of: Brooklyn Copper Cookware. Got my first two pieces this year and they make my cast iron look flimsy. I am amazed at the build on this stuff. Re-tin it every decade or so and it should be here until the end of time. Incredible stuff

I am enjoying this thread and going to research many of these items mentioned.

A couple high quality things I use, and appreciate:

Speed Queen commercial front load washer. I just bought for my home (without the coin operated part :). After speaking with appliance repair specialists, they all said that washers in general are so cheaply made, I just couldn’t invest in a consumer washer.

Not all Mercedes, but I’ve have good experience with my W210 model (227K miles). Also the W123 models, I just returned from a 1,200 mile road trip with my ‘83, no issues during the trip.

Curta calculator (1969 model). It works like new and makes doing taxes fun!

Alden cordovan boots. I’ve been wearing 2 pairs at work for years.

Talk about pay per use. Pretty much any smartphone these days considering what they can do and how much they are used. They are incredible tools!

Scotty Cameron putters. I have several vintage putters that I still use on the course. Just as relevant today as they were 30 years ago. In fact my favorite putter is 30+ years old.

Vintage Ray Bans

Rancourt loafers

Vintage Ralph Lauren Polo clothing, when they were still made in USA.

Heres a couple in one (poorly shot) photo.

Ekornes chairs. Not beautiful but well made (for the price) and beyond comfortable.

Head Porter Bag. Japanese made, insane quality and attention to detail. Relatively unknown in the states.

Companion Jeans. Bespoke made in Portugal by a single pair of hands. Outrageous details and beautiful materials.

Rancourt Ranger Mocs. Way better finish than my Quoddys and quite durable.

Filson belt. No experience necessary.

Iron Heart wallet. Japan made, beyond bulletproof.

Ive seen some on here mentioning whites boots. I can vouch that they are absolutely indestructible. I have several pairs though one would easily last a lifetime.

Yes, any raybans made after Bausch & Lomb sold the brand to Luxottica is just like any other cheap sunglasses. The old ones are great I have three pairs bought in the 80s still going strong.

Anyone mention Dyson vacuums? We bought one about 8 years ago that is still chugging along.

I almost want it to break so I can buy a new one.

I bought 2 Dolce&Gabbana belts about 8 years ago, if not more. They still look great. Don't wear them much anymore as I'm not into things with big logos, but I'm more than impressed.

Plenty has already been mentioned, but to add a few

Vibiemme coffee makers, I have a 25-30 year old one (Domobar) and still runs like new. Every 5 years or so a service and it should last you a lifetime.

Musto clothing, very good and durable. I've used an MPX set for sailing many many years and it's still good.

Dubarry boots

Swarovski binoculars. Top notch optics and durability, customer support great as well. Leica and Zeiss probably comparable but no experience with them

Miele washing machine

I have two Pendleton wool blankets my father won in trap shooting competitions, plus an original Hudson Bay blanket passed down through my mom's family that is well over 130 years old. The Hudson Bay still has the hash marks on it...

Pendleton clothing and blankets are still made in Pendleton, Oregon, if I remember correctly.

Also, someone mentioned Krieghoff, which I 100% agree with. Beautiful and functional. My dad's good friend had one, and it was a marvel to hold. He bought it in Germany in while stationed there.

I would also like to add:

Louisville Slugger baseball bats

Ping golf clubs

Mizuno baseball gloves

Lego (had anyone actually ever broken one??? I still have mine from the 1980s-90s)

Nalgene water bottles (the original 1L big mouth bottles; virtually indestructible, in my experience)

Tactical Tailor bags/packs/rucksacks

Vintage (80s) Kelty Red Wing backpacks

Red Wing boots (just bought my first pair of Iron Rangers, and wow, I'm impressed; had a pair of moc-toe boots for bird hunting growing up that were also well-worn and resoled. Unfortunately, lost them in a move years ago)

Triple Aught Designs clothing and gear

Rogue barbells, free weights, and kettlebells

Seiko watches (my dad's 6105-8119 went 35+ years without a service and started right up when I found it after he passed last year)

Warby Parker glasses

Arcteryx jackets

Beyond clothing (made in Seattle)

Mystery Ranch packs

Pretty much all of the companies I would have posted have been mentioned save this one:

PRS Guitars

Its funny, though (and ironic), how many companies that have been listed that I have had quality control issues with!

I have a pair of hiking sandals made by a company named 'Outland'. Tell you what, you can have your Tevas, your Keens, and your Merrells. These bad boys have been put through the absolute ringer and they're still good for yardwork and public outings not meant to impress. The durability of the soles is like nothing I've ever had before.

This is a great thread! I picked up a few names I didn’t have exposure to before, and that’s good.

Here’s my list:

Land-Rover
Canada Goose
Schott
Barbour Waxed Cotton
Pelican cases
Fischer space pen and their refills in Parker pens.
Write-In-The-Rain pads
Canon. Durable, best layout and best glass (sorry Germany!) in their pro stuff anyway
Benchmade (dependent on blade steel- I prefer their D2)
Sig Sauer (not New Hampshire)
Winchester (pre- ‘64)
U. S. Optics
Estwing hammers and hatchets
Red Wing boots (bang for buck winners)
Muck Boots I didn’t see mentioned. Great off road or doing messy chores.
Seiko
The original Ibis bikes. I love my Mojo!
Yamaha drums
Counterpoint / Rega / Thiel (stereo)
Studer decks for (pro) recording (Revox was their commercial brand)
Snap-On (I’m third generation and still use some of my grandfathers tools)
Klein Tools
Mitutoyo
Sure-Fire
Panasonic ToughBook
Fluke meters
Hardinge Super Precision lathe
