good points, and hopefully Omega is taking note because they really are valid points.
I personally love the fact Omega doesn't hold value, because it means I can own them more easily. and it's a great value for a great brand, truly.
but it is a problem at the same time.

anyway, did you (OP) buy the watch ?????

Well with the recent surge in gold prices, that watch should scrap out at over $10,000.
You are only.paying an extra 4k for the watch part.

This is one of those watches that doesn't really mean anything. It's another example of Omega overproduction and proliferation of references.

It would be like Rolex making a Datejust Chronograph. Then making it in STEEL, TT, YG, RG, WG. Each with 3 or 4 dials colors. There is no reason for it to even exist...

That's how a $45K retail turns into $8K preowned.

Toxic stuff...
Well said, there is no reason for it to exist.

Movement seem to small for the case which anyway is too big at 44mm. The only positive is that it has some inherent value in being gold.

Gonna need a much better photo to even begin to think about it. Especially the movement. What is visible in your pic looks questionable.

I’m no expert, but dropping a few K$ needs really detailed photos.

The good news is that you have free funds for fun stuff, so how about looking at something else?
