Ditto. In fact they try to sell pre-owned Daytonas at a premium!

You have ZERO shot of them even selling you a SS Daytona off the street let alone a discount. You have a MUCh better shot buying a NIB one here for at least something back of retail. I would also consider a used one in mint shape here from a trusted seller. You could pay way back of retail then.

Been to the Tourneau, Tourneau Time Machine and Wempe many times as their close to my office. Forget it. They will not have a ss Daytona, and if they did, forget getting any discount. To put it in perspective, Tourenau lists their used ss Daytonas for $13k!

Doubt this will make a difference, but no hurt in trying.

I've never seen a SS Daytona at any AD in New York.

TRF trusted sellers are your best bet. That's how I got mine.

I was offered 10 percent at wempe. Not sure what the margins are now but that was when they used to be 40 percent

Yes..I've bought 2 watches from DavidSW. Both were brand new in the box with stickers, tags and warranty card in my name. David is easy to communicate with and will be happy to address any of your questions or concerns.
