Aqua Terra >15000 Gauss Info

Hello,

I'm new to the watch hobby and began my interest with Rolex. I find the technology and development that has gone into the Omega >15000 gauss line rather interesting. I'm unable to find many online sites for purchasing this particular model.

What sites in particular are recommended for Omega? I've only been able to find this particular model in a black matte dial with the yellow striped second hand. Are there other color options available for this model?

Thanks.

The black and yellow is the only >15000 gauss watch that Omega made.

However, any currently available watch that has "master co-axial" on the dial has the same movement in it as the 15000 gauss.

Cuts33 is correct. Anything AT with "Master Co-Axial" on the dial is the 15000 Gauss 8500-series movement. The actual "15000 Gauss" model simply marks the first release of the "Master Co-Axial" Calibre.

If you like the "Bumble-Bee" you should buy one, might be a collectors item in a few decades as not many sold.

Be careful offering this sort of advice to new collectors.

Watches in general are not good investments, and you are more likely to take a loss if you sell.

But it is a nice watch.

If they'd only make the orange in 39mm I'd be all over it. Beautiful piece.
