A Rolex Nerd Reviews A Speedmaster Pro

Hi All,

Some of you may know of me and my blog from the Rolex side of the fence here at TRF. I recently added a 97' tritium Speedmaster Pro to my collection and wrote a lengthy review on my blog about it. You can read it at the link below, and rest assured, there are no ads, its just my personal passion blog about watches

Love to know what you all think!

An excellent review Dave.

I bought one for my son and had the chance to wear it on occasion.

Winding it was one issue I had....that little crown is hard to get a hold of at the end of the wind.

The other was the non-hacking movement but I could stop it with a little back pressure on the crown.

Takes about a week of solid ownership for your fingers to toughen-up and get used to the wind. I'm on my second Speedy Pro and had to re-experience it all over again. Once the induction period ends your fingers gain that muscle memory and winding is a joy. It's a strange evolution... Unfortunately, it sometimes scares off would-be buyers but I promise it magically disappears.
