never really cast my eye over them...feel like there's too much going on for me but I certainly recognize them as quality!

True. And in reality, is there any such thing as a production watch, that appreciates in value ?

I am a HUGE fan of the new Seawolf is SS.

From the revamped dial to the new case design this is a quality watch which I have had the pleasure to try on several times and would like to own... in particular this black beauty that goes down to 10,000 feet! That is deep...

The Seawolf SS is a masterpiece! I got my eyes on the one with the yellow dial!

I'm a big fan of Breitling. I currently own a Avanger Skyland, and wouldn't mind picking up a Steelfish or a Seawolf (great pics there Ren ) ...and a couple of others for that matters.

But I also agree with some posters in this thread, and that is that some of their watches can be a little bit to much "bling bling" (at least for my taste).

Cheers,
Joe

Fan of Breitling, still have the Chrono Avenger. First one stolen (blue dial) on Pro I, bought another one (black dial) on Pro I.

Durable, haven't had any issues with it. Its almost my daily wearer.

I have 3 Breitlings and just purchased my 1st Rolex GMT IIc recently.,,having owned both brand, they are all fantastic watches. The Breitlings I owned are the Windrider Collection and though they are a little heavy on the wrist, I love the look and feel of them.

Bottom line, if I had to choose between a Breitling and Rolex as my 1st watch, I will go with the Rolex....that's if I had to start my collection over again. But because this is my 1st Rolex, she's getting a little more love than my Breitlings.

Breitling

I have had several Superoceans and have had no problems selling any of them. I guess compaired to Rolex, they are difficult to sell.

ASH!!

I am a big fan of the Navitimer range, especially on the croc straps. The breitling straps and bracelets really are of the highest quality.

I used to always like Breitlings then they became too main stream, and with the frequency that they change/discontinue models I can't get behind them......except the Navitimer series.

I've had my Chronomat since 95. Its been my daily wearer since 99 and looks practically brand new. None of my other watches could look as good after going through what that watch has been through.

I don't know if I'll buy another one since everyone and their mother has one in NYC but I still think they make a great watch.

I think that Breitling watches are very good, they`re very tough and quality timepieces. However, during the 1990.`s, here in Serbia, Breitlings became extremely popular among criminals of all kind. So it became common thing that, if you see fellow with Breitling (mostly Navitimer models) entering the club or restaurant, you INSTANTLY want to leave!
Yeah, what a memories...
Anyway, Serbian airforce had Breitling as their official partner, and they were not satisfied with them. It was (I think) Pluton model that caused many troubles to Serbian pilots. It was Japanese quartz movement inside that wasn`t reliable at all. So, Serbian air force now using Citizens, and as I hear, they`re pretty happy with them. And the funny thing is that movement in Breitling Pluton was manufactured by - Citizen!

My dad wears Breitling Superocean and I think that he would rather sold his own son, than beloved timepiece!
