Rolex oyster perpetual date
Hi,
I have heritated this watch from my grand mother, but without certfication papers and box. The only fact that i know it's the 13mm lady model I searched a lot on inet but neven found exactly the same watch... I have some questions about it. How old is it? Is it a real rolex? Is it a rare model or a common? What's the price of it now? http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...0127172501.jpg http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...0127172358.jpg http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...0127172327.jpg |

Your watch looks authentic based on these pictures. Could be a 6917 , Oyster perpetual lady date 26mm on a Jubile 13mm 62510D (Dame). Movment 2035 inside. "G" code on clasp indicate 1982 for the production year. You could find the exact reference for the watch as well as the S/N by removing the bracelet. This S/N would help confirm the year, as bracelet could have been replaced during watch service. This isn't a rare model, and I've no idea regarding the price. Probably not so much. Try find some "for sale" using the watch reference to have a better idea. |

For your search, use "6917" the watch reference, not the bracelet. A site to search can be www.chrono24.com Between the lugs you have the Ref# at 12 o'clock that will confirm, or not, it's a 6917 , and the s/n is at 6 (to determine the year of production). |

probably No, it is not rare and quite common. They run about $7,000USD new.. Yours, of course, has more sentimental value than it has actual value today..
