Ship Advice USA to Redhill, Surrey UK

Hi All,
I am shipping intl for the first time. From the US to a business address in Redhill, Surrey RHI5JY. I am shipping to the buyers place of business. A well known company with a website. I am thoroughly checking out the buyers credentials, that he works there, where he lives, etc. Once satisfied, buyer will wire me funds and once funds are secure, I will ship my beloved 16750.

I need your advice PLEASE on the best and safest carrier, method and tips how to ship from the US to this location.

Thank you!
Russ

Parcel Pro

I am shipping from US to UK. Do I need to be a business to use parcedl pro - or can a private party (me) use them as my insuring party?

A private party is fine. I've used them several times for insuring and shipping watches. Call Suzanne, she's handled all my business with Bob Ridley and is very competent, professional and above all, patient!!

I would caution you on accepting from a Forum, any advice on shipping a Rolex into a European country without consideration of the laws, tariffs, customs or other potential costs or pitfalls..

A forum is simply an opinion or discussion platform and can, in no way, provide legal or authoritative direction for you..

With that in mind.... let the opinion and discussion, which TRF as a Forum, probably cannot validate, begin............

Larry gives good disclaimer. We aren't liable for opinions...
Of course when shipping a "gift" tariff and tax isn't usually an issue.

You might define "safe" in terms of who does "best" in the target zone. I'd suggest looking at DHL for their international capability in the UK.
