You got the better watch IMHO. That said, there is something cool about those jubilee dials.

Stupid question. The date just such as the dial above with Rolex written in the background over & over again, does that signify a type of special edition date just or is it just a different dial made available?

I believe it's the Jubilee anniversary dial.
