Anyone a fan of BOVET?
I got my first Bovet this past October as a birthday gift to myself and I love it.
I got the Bovet sportster saguaro and love it. Great for occasions with a suit and tie or a leather biker jacket or casual occasions. This is the entry model which retails for 30k and every model after is around 50k starting and goes up to a few hundred thousand. Surprisingly not alot of people except real watch enthusiasts have heard of Bovet. Strange that a company that makes such nice timepieces goes so unnoticed in the big world of Rolex, Hublot, Audermas. |

Sure some are nice but at this price point PP, Lange and AP have nicer watches.

They are on another level, actually. Movements, fit and finish are way above PP, Lange and AP. Prices reflect this, of course.

Very intricate work. Interesting design. Not sure I'd say their finish is "on another level" from Patek and Lange, but it is definitely right there.

They definately have some very unique design features and the ones I've seen were very nicely finished as well. Their designs really don't do anything for me personally, but they certainly make some interesting watches. Better than PP or Lange? I wouldn't go that far, but nice just the same.

Certainly intricate and difference. I like them a lot, not sure I could see myself ever owning one though.

You obviously like their watches which is fine, tastes differ.
In this price range I prefer some more conservative styled watches from PP which also hold their value a lot better. Bovet does indeed have some nice watches but most of them are over the top and look like they're designed for a 18th century French Queen. Now their vintage chronograph watches from the 40s are a different story, those are really really nice and some are quite affordable as well. |

Love the watch, it's a bit too out there for to pick up one now, I still haven't gotten a few "Staples" but it's a brand on my radar.
Enjoy it, great choice |
