Parts availability for Reference 1500/ 1570 Movement

New to vintage Rolex watches. Before purchasing a 1960/70 Reference 1500, I like to find out from more experienced members, is it difficult and expensive to service /repair such a movement . Before posting this question, I did a sub-forum search, but came up empty.

From what I understand from my watchmaker, new parts are starting to becoming a little scarce for this ref.

It will depend on the resources of your specific watchmaker, so it might be best to ask him or her.
