Thoughts on this Blue Snowflake
This is my first vintage tudor and I particularly love the chamfers and the patina, but have no idea on dial variations so would like to gather some comments on its authenticity/correctness. Hopefully I made the right purchase!
A few points worth noticing: 1) Mismatched endlinks. Not sure if 580 or 501b should be the correct one 2) Case sides seem to have a satin-like finish, rather than the mirror finish that rolex has 3) Movement rotor is rather uncommon, but I have seen a few other examples online with this rotor |

Looks good. A little miles but otherwise in great shape with all the right bits for a 76/77 9411/0 ; )

From your photos, the side finishing in satin could be due to the usage of it over the years?
For the case back, I would expect to see 9411/0 marked inside the case back. As for the dial, I believe there are only two variations? One is the original dial (like yours) and the other is the service dial which can be distinguished by the "S" of Submariner. Are you able to see the date code on the bracelet clasp? I have seen many 94110 even up to early eighties come with 9315 or 7836 folded link bracelets rather than 78360/93150. I am also learning about 94110. |

There isnt a 9411 marked inside of caseback. Bracelet is a 78360 with VE code. Any idea which is a correct endlink for these? thank you |

There are many more than 2 variants, but ZUB and SUB are the major visual differences

Tried to find any signs of previous markings on outer side of caseback but it just seems like its been polished probably due to heavy scratches
Here's a photo of the inner caseback: |

You have a clean Dial,That is the most important part of a Snowflake as many are rotted away.

May be it is also because of the variants of the 94100 do not have so much collectible difference as compares to say Rolex 5513/1675/etc. |

the outer caseback engravings seems a little off. Fonts don't seem to be consistent with those in the late 70s, as per the 842xxx serial range. I would reconfirm this caseback piece, but the rest of the watch seems ok.
I've had a matt sides case of my 94010 before; probably 'polished'/buffed incorrectly by some watch service shop. yours might be similar, or probably done the same shop lol Having said that, the dial and hands look nice, and case looks well used, though retaining most of the case material perhaps...
