I've owned a few G-Shocks in recent years but this one has been the keeper among all of them. I like to have a bright color every now and then. The nickname for this model on many forums is "Zombie Slayer". Model number is DW-6900CS-1.

Thanks again for more compliments. Photography was a hobby many years ago.
So it makes sense to use that experience in this newer hobby. My collection is all about variety. I like every type of watch. I had a lot of Tissot in the past and am a little sad to find I don't have many left; I might reverse that trend. I had more Oris along the way but that has dwindled. Omega has always been my favorite brand. That poor Tissot Seastar was given to me in that condition. I replaced the guts with everything out of another simple Tissot I had here. This is the current state: |

This was one of my favorite watches to photograph. I sold this just a little while ago. That helped pay for my Planet Ocean. But I like to photograph it more than I wore it. I will miss it a little but I find that I can still enjoy it via the photos.

that B&M is a quartz,auto or HW?.
great pictures of really nice watches in great variety I am a huge Tissot and Omega fan too...I still wonder how the PR50 dial fit the SeaStar 1000...isn't the later's dial any bit larger, as it seems so from their sizes and look in real life....good job rescuing it though...does really quiet go well witht the new parts :) thanks for sharing. |

That is a Baume Mercier Classima Executive 8735. It is a hand wind and uses higher grade 6498-2. The movement has an extra 10h of power reserve, higher beat 21.600 and is regulated in multiple positions. It has been gone for a few months now and I only miss it a bit. It is beautiful but as I said, I rarely wore it. It paid for a big chunk of my Planet Ocean, which I wear a lot. So it was given up for a worthy cause.
The PR50 and Seastar both used the 2824. The dial size is made to match the movement size I guess. It's funny how your eyes plays tricks. It was a perfect fit. The movement and dial were an easy swap over. The final result is a bit of mixed bag, diver case without diver hands. But the look is reasonably nice IMO. |

I got a pretty cool photo of my Planet Ocean under a cool matrix of lights in the Audi booth at the CES Show. It's not really crisp because I only had my phone camera with me. But it turned out alright anyway:
