Icon20 Trying something a little different!

Hello TRF Members!

Well, today I don't have much to do. So, I took my Black/Grey Nato strap and put it on my Dad's 16713. As I've showed you before, that I wear the watch under a sweatband, cause the Oyster TT bracelet is sized to his wrist. I think it looks alright, it's defiantly better than the Sweatband! I think it would look better on a plain black nato! Could someone spare one of their black natos for me?

Yeah, black would probably look better but it's pretty cool just the way it is!

Adam! That's tough! Black and Grey Nato on vintage GMT! I have yet to try a Nato on any of my timepieces, kinda makes me feel like I'm missing out on something As others have stated don't let your dad see this thread or else there could be some trouble

Looks good indeed but I would prefer a black NATO! Thank you for sharing though, I'm sure you gave some other fellows (Sam included! ) an idea!

Thanks guys! I showed my dad, he didn't like it! He's not a fan of the Nato, like I know a few of you aren't. Oh well, back to the sweatband!

Wow! Your dad took that easy! If I were to modify one of my dads timepieces it would have been WW2 all over again! Easy going guy! Congratulations!
