Love the look of the ceramic bezeled GMT's now but still can't get around the polished center links. They are probably the only thing keeping me from moving from my current 16710 Coke to a 116710 BLNR Batman.

Curious if anyone has gotten the center links brushed on a BLNR. If so I'd love to see a picture!

Why not just buy a Submariner bracelet and safe keep the GMT bracelet instead?

I've seen some pictures of some on here before, but could have been where someone swapped a sub bracelet. Although im sure someone has had them brushed.

Good point about using a sub bracelet instead. That makes a ton of sense, plus it gives you the glidelock clasp. Having two bracelets sounds like a great idea too!

Just have the PCL brushed and you're good to go. Even though in the wild i would think it was a fake watch and the Chinese company didn't know the difference between a sub bracelet and gmt bracelet. But i have heard many people on here do this.

I like it more without the PCLs as well. I should have done that swap before I sold my BLNR!

Whatever you do dont flip the 16710 to get the BLNR. Keep your 16710.

I'm leaning towards sticking with my 16710. Just picked up a Pepsi bezel insert for it. Eventually I'll get the black insert and have three watches in one. Love the versatility of the older GMT's, but I really do like the look of the ceramic bezels a little better.

Getting PCLs brushed by my AD jeweler was $70... or, you can do it yourself. It was the first thing I did after purchasing the watch.

Stupid question, but once the links are brushed, can the be polished again if you decide to go back to the original look?

Get a scotchbrite pad and do it yourself.

Don't do it, it has polished links for one reason. You can do it but you'll mess up the design. This is not a tool watch like the sub. It is intended to be more refined than that.

You can have them brushed and polished at an AD with a watch maker very easiliy. I thought about brushing and buying a Sub bracelet. Bracelet was just too much and still liked using the polished for dressing up. So I just went with a RubberB. This is on my Black GMT but I did have a blnr and used it on that also just cant find a pic.

Brushed a bracelet years ago on the 116710LN and kept a spare. It's now on my BLNR

If I get in the mood, I swap back to the PCL bracelet.
