13hours is a very good flick. Check it out, the extra footage interviewing the guys is very revealing. But yes, some of his other stuff is an acquired taste.

Yeah, I've seen it. I thought it was ok. Better than average for a MB movie. I also quite liked "Pain and Gain", which was fun. Other than that, I'm struggling to come up with any compelling movies he's made.

The Rock wasn't a bad movie...was fun to see Sean Connery playing an older 'James Bond' as it were. Plus Ed Harris did make a villain whose cause you could empathize with.

Yeah, you're right. The Rock was a good, fun flick. I think my impression of Michael Bay has been permanently spoiled by the whole series of Transformers films.

Michael Bay's net worth is $430million. If I knew I could make a fraction of that making movies that are so-so at best, I do it in a heart beat !!!

I guess he could buy more than a few smurfs to hand around at xmas time :)
