Rolex 6694

I have a vintage 1955 Rolex 6694. I bought it used about 5 years ago. It stopped working about a year ago. I haven't really thought much about getting it fixed until just recently. I have no papers for it. Where would I get something like this worked on? Anyone have any recommendations. Here's a pic of the watch.

Lovely watch. I'd say it's closer to 1965 than 1955, though.

Thank you and good catch. I inadvertently hit the 5 instead of the 6. 1965 is correct.

what you are looking for in service for that watch can be done by any number of independent vintage rolex watch makers that are popular on this and other forums such as ABC watch works and LAWW in california as well as tommy in your home state. i suggested tommy (RWT) on this forum as he is very well known for servicing these early oysters and is conveniently located to you for safe shipping or visiting in person. i really think you should contact him as having anyone else do the work may not be as convenient.
