Oysterdate on the rocks

Actually, just posing on some. It's in very nice shape! IV 64 (my birthyear). I brought it out to the Promontory Point in Hyde Park in Chicago (55th St and Lake Michigan) this evening...

Wow, that's a beautiful dial! Admittedly I do not know much about the early non-sport models, but I have never seen YG markers & hands on a SS or WG piece, was that common for that time period? It looks great!
