Newbie Needs Suggestions

Hey Guys!
I'm a newbie watch enthusiast who is looking to purchase my first quality timepiece. I have a budget of $1000. Any recommendations on something that will hold value in a chronograph around that price? I've been eying a couple different Tag models. Am I in the right?

Not sure what models are available at that point but Tag would be a great start. Good luck and let us know!

Going in a different direction...my husband has two Rolex watches but there are times when he doesn’t want to wear them. The Seiko, Orient, and even some Citizen Ecodrive watches are much less than $1k, are high quality, and look great. They will be much less than $1k, and so you can pocket the difference and start saving for your dream watch. Or, get a couple of them, such as a chronograph and a divers watch. Good luck!

Greeting Dreamland_Dave.

What Boopie said above. Lots of choices. Check out some watch websites.
