Aqua Terra 38.5 mm. Huh? Totally confused

Hi there bare with me for just a second newbie question. I always knew I wanted a submariner and am prepared to wait…till…who knows….but I wanted a nice dressy watch as well. Rolex does not do it for me in that department. Just not a fan of a submariner with suits etc. Anyway found the Aqua Terra and absolutely fell in love. I’ve been doing tons of research registered with the Omega site etc and they are showing me this watch as available. However I thought the vertical striping was discontinued in 2017? Specifically it’s this model 231.10.39.21.55.001. White dial with diamonds and the date at the the 3:00 position.
So just a little confused right now. To make matters worse somehow when I registered with them they think I am in England and I’m clearly in the United States I’m wondering if this model is still sold overseas?
Any insight?

Is the OP near an Omega AD or boutique to take a look? Plan B is Omega’s good website.

Reference you posted doesn't have diamonds. Anyways it's been long discontinued but can be had for a bargain on the used market.

Omega's web site can be a little tricky to navigate sometimes. I recommend navigating on Omega's web site to the main landing page for the model of interest, and then look for the "Catalog" button near the bottom of the page. That catalog will pull up a listing showing the myriad of Aqua Terra variants you can choose from. Then, once you've found and selected a variant that interests you, its availability should be easier to discern.

I can understand falling in love with the Aqua Terra. The same thing happened to me twenty years ago, when the first generation Aqua Terra first came onto the stage. It was my first good watch

My first one was replaced a few years ago with a contemporary Aqua Terra...

They have a 38mm that is very similar to that. White color dial, date at 6:00 position and updated movement.

I was looking for another watch to get after my speedy and i definitely wanted it to be an omega. I was looking at other versions of the speedy but I think the AT is the next pick. What a beauty.

The AT is definitely a nice piece. I have one of the long discontinued 36mm (automatic) versions which really wears like a dream.
