Being younger and with money doesn’t make you interested in this trash. A very tiny percent of the male population is into this but they want you to think it’a normal and you should be dressing like a woman (and acting like one).

Do you not know anyone under 35?

I’m going to go rotate my tires and wife then have a straight bourbon and listen to joe rogan in the garage while I smoke two cigars and yell at the evening news.

The 90s editions of Cigar Aficionado were good reading much better than today.

GQ went into the dumper shortly after Art Cooper retired as the editor in 2003. The magazine has never recovered from his retirement.

Compared to Bowie in the 70s, those photos/styles are pretty tame.

Nothing to get worked up about, IMHO.

Insecure masculinity seems to be a thing around here? Take it as art, a form of expression or guidance (second pic, colors, patterns, lapel, single button). No one is wearing that exact same stuff. No need to get offended gents

Well said. My wife is in the fashion industry and she explained to me a long time ago that the stuff that is shown on a runway is no where near the end result that is actually sold in stores. It’s the designers way to push the boundaries as far as they think they can for the shows and then gets branded way down eventually for the consumer.

I also find it humorous how angry people get from a photo from a fashion shoot. Everyone is so “woke” now even the old timers.

Nothing insecure about expecting men’s magazines to be actually for men. Pushing that real men wear dresses is nonsense and not good for anything. Covering eccentric androgynous celebrities is not the same as presenting constant men in woman’s clothing.

In any case you all could be right. I checked their site and these photos could be a one off and not too normal there yet. However this is becoming pervasive and they want you arguing that we should just accept it. I don’t agree, I believe in a more traditional family etc and don’t see any positive impact from gender bending normalization.

How other people dress or identify has no impact on how I live my life. I am comfortable in my own skin, I don’t feel the need to sit on a soap box and complain about what others do.
Who really cares what other people wear or how they might identify or whatever? Live and let live.

I have to agree with you on this post, however just because people are making comments about it doesn’t necessarily have any reflection on their masculinity. I also don’t think anyone here has been on a “soap box” they’re just expressing their opinions the same way you did. Except they complained about a publication and the media “pushing agendas” or what not, you insulted and generalized members of this forum with your opinion.
