How many types of TT Sub are there?

I intend to pick one up this weekend. I know this is going to sound ignorant but all I know is that it was "a blue one" I wasn't in a position to buy it so I didn't want to upset myself further by closely examining it...I can't even remember if it had lugholes or not I'm trying to find out what the differences are between the models so I know what I'm getting. I've since noticed the datewheels come in both champagne and white. Help?

As well as the TT blue (16613 LB) you can get the sub in a TT black. (16613 LN) if it has lug holes it will probably pre date 2003 aprox.

In 2010 both of these watches underwent changes to their cases (super case) & bezels (now with a ceramic insert instead of an aluminum one) The 2010 + models carry an extra 1 in their model #'s (116613 LB & 116613 LN)

Hope this basic info helps.

Ok, further research has shown that there are only two non-ceramic tt sub models. 16613 and 16803. Is this accurate? If so, then what are the differences besides the year? What's with the datewheel colouring? Help me out guys this info is difficult to find without spending much needed watch money on Submariner history books.

Ahhhhh thank you very much. Lunette Verte, Bleu and Noir. You just clicked that home for me because I knew what LV meant but the others never clicked with me. Much appreciated.

.
3 new generation (since 2009) with ceramic bezel, and 3 old generation (from 1987 to 2009), see below . Previous generation is 16803 before 1987.
