Anyone know rougly how many "Y" serial 16610 LV were made?

Hi guys, as post states anyone have a rough guestimate as to how many "y" serials were made? Im thinking a lot less then "F" series as i see a fair few "F"s but not that many "y"s around......

And if anyone posts its only a case stamp etc i know i know its just i like trivial information and Rolex enthusiasts like myself love a bit of trivial information to keep us happy.......I can appreciate whether its a "F","Y","M" etc its the same watch!..............

They were made in sufficient quantity that I know that I can buy one whenever I want, that`s good enough for me.

How many would you like?

Bill, I do not think so...just people expressing their thoughts. If I was guessing I would think a few thousand were made and then released over the next couple of years!!!

This kinda of thing does get asked quite a bit around here. However Rolex doesn't publish this information, so we have no way of knowing how many. It's possible but I kind of doubt that they track this information.

Edit: I meant to say it's possible they don't track this information, but I would think they would for many reasons and they just don't release it.

I didn't want to come across rude in my replies to the above posters. I have been a member for a while now and I know certain things get asked more than others and some questions are met with a roll of the eyes while others are applauded..what I do know is that everyone here helps each other to the best of their ability and I probably took offence to what I thought was a perfectly legitimate question...sorry to the above posters who I was sarcastic towards......on a happier note I checked the link out the above poster put up and it seems they were only made for the launch of the lv in september then in october the F serials emerged, that's a good enough answer for me!

I'm glad this question was asked. I had questions about the early 16610LVs and the discussion in the above link was very helpful. Thanks.
