5512 case back on 5513
Would a 5512 case back hurt the value of a circa 1985 model 5513

If it is more important to keep it original, keep the one you have... If you want to have it more "correct" then find someone with the reverse set-up and trade case backs !

I have seen several 5512's in old for sale ads and the majority have 5513 case backs. What is interesting is that they have correct date codes too.
It seems original equipment was the 5513 back... I've not seen a '13 with a '12 back before but I'm not usually looking at 5513's. |

It's not at all uncommon to see a 5512 case back in a 5513, thus it won't hurt the value.

5513 with 5512 caseback is more common than 5513 caseback.
