UK AD visit & try on with DJ41 pics..
Went to Fraser Hart in Milton Keynes today to see what they had in.. good selection of DJ41s, OP39s, Exp, Exp II polar, lots of gold & TT, didn't see any subs ? . . maybe a TT ?
Tried on the Explorer hoping to love it and buy it. But was a bit underwhelmed unfortunately. Explorer II polar didn't grab me much either. I've only really thought about DJs very recently, so tried a few on. The blue felt a bit blingy in the flesh especially with jubilee bracelet. I really wanted to like the jubilee but It didn't feel right. What I was quite impressed with was the black dial which I thought was the Rhodium as it was sunburst dial. I questioned her but she assured me it was black ? My favourite most unexpectedly was the silver dial, oyster bracelet, smooth bezel. It just all really worked together . . very nice watch. I would never have considered it without seeing it in the flesh . . I didn't purchase but definitely considering the silver DJ or Black |

Looks like a fun day, and your AD had a hell of a lot more than the AD in Heathrow T5. No sport models at all.

I'm finding myself drawn more and more towards a Rhodium dial on jubilee.

Nigel,
Did Sarah serve you? They have had a fair amount of staff turnover of late so a little unsettled I guess. Yes Lisa and Tanya are very good at BB even if I do find FH MK selection typically better, also a bonus with BB is a smaller customer base so typical waitlist not as bad as FH. |

My closest AD is actually Michael Jones, Northampton. I find that I feel guilty if I walk out without spending £10k in there . . not sure why |

Thanks for the report and pics. As time goes by, I am more and more drawn to the DJ41. There is not a single dial that I dislike. My favorite is the black sunburst, I just like more of a contrast than the dark rhodium. Fluted bezel/Oyster bracelet is my pick.

the dj41 was the original choice for me, due to not wanting to wait for a sports model, and on the day when I went to get it, it was only a fluke that a gmt had come in on the day and I was offered it, so i had that instead,
great watch the dj41, love it in black, can you get fluted bezel in steel by the way? |

Fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet, rhodium dial would be my preferred combo...but all of the dial look very good
